Who we are

Forre (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website at forre.co.uk. We are a UK-based service helping women find athletic wear that fits their body using community-powered fit data. For data protection queries, contact us at hello@forre.co.uk.

What data we collect

Account data: your name and email address when you register
Fit profile data: measurements (height, weight, bust, waist, hips), body shape, typical sizes, and activity preferences — entered voluntarily through our fit quiz
Reviews: product reviews and fit ratings you submit, including measurements at time of purchase
Usage data: pages visited, clicks, and session information via cookies

Special category data

Body measurements (height, weight, bust, waist, hips, body shape) are classified as special category personal data under UK GDPR Article 9. We collect this only with your explicit consent, given at the start of the fit quiz. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account and fit profile.

Why we collect it

Body measurements: used solely to match you with women who have similar measurements and surface their fit reviews (legal basis: explicit consent)
To improve recommendations: aggregated, anonymised fit data improves our matching algorithm (legal basis: legitimate interests)
To send transactional emails: account confirmations and welcome messages (legal basis: contract)
Analytics: understanding how the site is used so we can improve it (legal basis: consent via cookie banner)

Affiliate links & cookies

Forre earns commission when you click product links and make a purchase. We use Skimlinks and Awin to manage these affiliate relationships. These services place cookies on your device to track referrals. We only activate affiliate tracking cookies after you consent via the cookie banner.

We only recommend products because they are relevant to our community — not because of commission rates. Our editorial independence is not influenced by affiliate relationships.

Who we share data with

Supabase — our database and authentication provider (EU data centres)
Resend — transactional email delivery
Vercel — website hosting
Skimlinks / Awin — affiliate tracking (only with your consent)

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

How long we keep it

Account and fit profile data is kept for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated fit data (with no link to your identity) may be retained to improve our matching algorithm.

Your rights (UK GDPR)

Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you
Rectification: correct inaccurate data in your profile
Erasure: request deletion of your account and personal data
Portability: receive your data in a machine-readable format
Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interests
Withdraw consent: change your cookie preferences at any time via the cookie settings in the footer

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of Forre after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
