Yoga Starter Kit
Everything you need to walk into your first yoga class with confidence. Soft, stretchy clothes that move with you — no baggy t-shirts falling over your head mid-downward dog.
Why these items?
Yoga is all about flexibility and breath, so your clothes need to move with you without getting in the way. High-waisted leggings stay put during inversions, a light-support bra gives you comfort without bulk, and a loose top layers nicely when you're cold at the start of class.

Beginner Tips
Start with a beginner Hatha or Vinyasa Flow class — they're slow-paced and the instructor explains each pose. Arrive 10 minutes early to introduce yourself and tell the instructor it's your first time. Bare feet are normal. Bring a water bottle. Don't worry about being flexible — yoga builds flexibility, it doesn't require it.
Where to Find Classes
Search "beginner yoga near me" on Google Maps or ClassPass. Many studios do an intro month offer. Online: Yoga with Adriene on YouTube (completely free, huge beginner library), the Down Dog app, or Alo Moves.
